Help Save Cute Little Otters!!!
Do you want to murder cute innocent animals?
Most likely, your answer is no. When you go to the beach make sure you throw out your garbage in a can and NOT in the water. You would be surprised what one little piece of garbage could do to sea life, let alone all the garbage that is already in the ocean causing damage. If you have a piece of gum and you are not near a garbage can, put the wrapper in your pocket or give it to a parent, or put it with your snack and throw it out later.
DO NOT WEAR REAL FUR!!
It is discusting. If you wouldn't like to have your skin ripped from your body as your brutally slaughtered and turned into an ugly bag, or coat, don't do it to another creature! If you have any morals, or respect for yourself or for nature you will not wear fur!

Chile saves otters!
Marine Otters were the number one most hunted mamals in Chile. Now otters are protected by the Chilean government via The Marine Mamal Protection Act. This act not only protects otters directly by including hunting laws, but it also helps prevent oil spills and poaching.
Poaching is illegally hunting/tresspassing without permission.
They also help sick or injured Otters by making models of their habbitat and letting them live there while nursing them back to health and re releasing them into the wild.

Physical Characteristics
The Otter ranges from about 870mm to about 1149mm long. Otters have webbed feet, with very strong claws. Otter hair is really coarse. Their top layer of hair also know as the guard hair is 20mm long. Thier under fur is only 12mm long. Otters are mostly dark brown but they can also be light brown, yellowish brown, and red. Unlike dogs and other animals, Otters noses are completely covered in fur.

Marine Otter Habitat

Otters prefer temperate, tropical, terrestrial, saltwater marine habitats. They are found in littoral areas as well as in estuaries. A littoral area a shore, or the zone in between high and low tides. An estuarie is water that extends inland in order to meet the mouth of a river. Otters are found along the Pacific coast from Peru to the southern tip of South American. Otter is the only species of the genus Lontra that is mainly a marine creature. Although otters spend most of their time in the water chilling with rock fish, crustaceans, and molluscs they also enjoy sunbathing on exclusive rocky shore areas. Otters come to shore mostly during mating season (which is during December and January). They prefer rocky land to smooth land because the bumps hills and crevices offer easy protection from predators and easy hiding to catch prey.
